1. How did you two meet or what was the proposal like?: In the small town of Findlay, Ohio, Deep and I gravitated towards each other trying to survive graduate school, where we formed a close friendship during the first semester. Things took a turn during winter break when Deep and I were separated for a month. Upon reuniting in Findlay, Deep made the first move and invited myself to watch a basketball game & the rest is history. Fast forward to 5 years later, we overcame the long distance and hurdles & got engaged in stunning Napa, California. 2. Were you happy with the venue?: Yes! The Crowne Plaza Phoenix - Chandler Golf Resort is a beautiful hotel and captured such an 'Arizona vibe', as our wedding party and families are from Chicago. They hosted a two day wedding event for us and got multiple praises for the beautiful venue and accommodations. 3. Describe the theme or color scheme of your wedding, and what you chose for your table setting at the reception: Our color scheme was blush, white/ neutrals. We had our first traditional Indian event called, "Garba" where we also combined that with our welcome party, to welcome our guests to our wedding weekend. Our colors scheme was orange, yellow, and beige. They did a beautiful job with the candles, stage setup, and flower decor, however, not much was needed with that beautiful garden courtyard! Our second event was in the Pergola, another beautiful space, that held one of our wedding ceremonies, whose color theme was all neutrals with greenery. The space itself is beautiful, but we worked closely with Yovany for placement of the tables, bar, and setup to maximize the space for our guest count. She made it look perfect! 4. What piece of advice would you give other couples planning their big day? It is a stressful time, however to take it all in because the day goes by so fast! To enjoy and let the small stuff go when it comes to the wedding because it is your special day and you never get it back! Take one moment to look around the room and soak in all the people and loved ones that gathered for you and to celebrate your love. Photography: Bianca Frost Photography
