One of the sweetest first look reactions from Lucas when Kristin descended from the staircase to meet him. Kristin's style embodied princess through the dress, long veil and headpiece. The details throughout portrayed vintage glam, beauty and the beast with a hint of star wars. Kristin and Lucas were set to marry in the Fountain Courtyard but decided to move indoors due to inclement weather. The Ballroom was transformed into a ceremony and reception space with white velour draping, gold chivari chairs, gold charger plates and a luxe sweetheart table for the new Mr. and Mrs.
Kristin and her mother personalized the wedding with custom bouquets, centerpieces and a unique gift/guestbook table which included a vintage suitcase for cards. The bride kicked off the reception with a wedding dress and shoe change to sparkly sneakers to dance the rest of the evening away with her new husband. Ryann and Kiel hosted their wedding on New Year's Eve and it was nothing short of a blast!
The ceremony took place in the evening with added up lights on the Courtyard arch as well as twinkle lights wrapped around the trees. The wedding party entered the ceremony from behind a white drape with the Bride's entrance drawing suspense as the drapes opened to a string quartet version of the song "I'll Be". The bride and groom unified their marriage with a candle which then carried throughout the guests with their own personal candles. Guests made their way to the Ballroom Foyer for cocktail hour, decked out in garland, personal wedding touches and custom acrylic seating chart. The feast during reception consisted of a Mac N' Cheese station, Build Your Own Nacho Bar, Street Tacos & Mini Sliders. The couple's NYE decor consisted throughout ceremony and reception of soft candle lights, black & white attire, gold floral accented centerpieces and sweet wedding favors. Guests enjoyed a donut wall, photo booth and confetti cannons as they rang in the New Year! The groom's attire was sure to stun with a velour emerald green suit and velvet dress shoes to match the wedding colors. Bridesmaids dresses featured colors of lilac, emerald green and plum. Gorgeous white linen was draped across the ceremony arch with a stunning floral piece to accent the wedding colors. The bride and groom opted out of a first look which lead to quite possibly the best first look while walking down the aisle! Cocktail hour was held in the same location with lawn games and passed appetizers for guests to enjoy. Passed appetizers included Coconut Shrimp, Caramelized Pear & Brie and the Bride's favorite- Maryland Style Crab cakes! Guests were escorted up our historic staircase to the rooftop terrace for reception. The DJ's up lighting and custom dance floor monogram wow'd the guests upon arrival. The grand entrance set the tone for the evening with the bridal party making their way to the dance floor with champagne glasses in hand. To keep the WOW factor going- dinner was served with a cucumber wrapped salad, Blood Orange Sorbet Intermezzo, Asiago Chicken and Braised Short Ribs. YUM! The bride and groom truly customized their day with signature drinks (Cotton Candy Champagne & Pumpkin Martinis), extravagant floral centerpieces and late night snacks (Churro Bar, Sliders and Avocado Station)! The party did not stop as guests enjoyed a night of dancing with good food, drinks and company! Photographer: KelliMPhotos DJ; SKM Entertainment Cake: Love and Cake Florist: Fred's Flowers |
